AUTUMN BIRD MIGRATION

The autumn is a really exciting season for watching birds

September is one of the best times to observe the bird migration here in Hungary. The breeding birds are already on their way to the wintering areas, but we can still see flocks of them here. The most visible are the northern birds with rarities which arrive to this area some will migrate through but some will spend the winter here in Hungary. September is a good time to find rare birds such as Asian, Northern European, American, and Mediterranean birds.
