  • The woodpeckers and winter passerines are regularly visiting my feeders
  • Kingfishers and Bitterns are very active at the frozen lakes
  • Sparrowhawks are daily visitors at my feeding stations
  • My Roe deer hide is busy, 10-12 deer are daily visitors

February

  • My Roe deer hide is busy. 8-12 deer visit the feeder daily

  • The hawfinches and woodpeckers are very active by my Hawfinch hide
  • By the fihpond hide ducks and geese are in good number
  • The first herons and Spoonbills are arrive
  • The feeders are still very busy
april

April

  • The first hoopoes arrived
  • Songbirds come back in good numbers
  • End of the mount the Red-footed Falcons arrive
  • The middle of the month is the season for the Great Bustrad display
  • The 2nd half of the month is the time for the spring Brown Bear photography

  • The Rollers are active at the Tower hide
  • the song birds are back from the wintering areas
  • The Wrynecks are very active
  • The drinking ponds are busy
  • The Bee-eaters arrive around middle of the month
  • Hoopoes feed the chicks
  • The Kestrels are active at the Tower hide
  • the Little owls are busy at my hide

  • The Rollers feed the chicks until the last week
  • The Herons areĀ  very busy
  • The drinking ponds are very busy
  • The Hoopoes are still active around my hide
  • The Little ows are happy if you photograph them

  • On the Lake Tisza the Whiskered terns have nice breeding colonies
  • The Squacco Herons are very active

  • Great number of birds are daily visitors at my Garden hide

  • Black storks visit the ricefields in good numbers
  • The Autumn crocuses bloom in good number around Kisujszallas
  • The drinking stations are busy

  • Good opportunities for Crane photography

  • The geese and Cranes are in good number
  • At my Hawfinch hide the first Sparrowhawks can be seen
  • The first deer arrive to my Roe deer hide
december

December

  • White-tailed Eagles are starting to visit my hides and feeding stations
  • Number of roosting Long-eared Owls
  • The woodpeckers and winter passerines are regularly visit my feeders and Sparrowhawk is regular guest too
  • Kingfishers are already active by the lakes
  • The Common Buzzards visit my eagle hide area daily in good number
  • The Roe deer hide is busy now
