Red-footed Falcon photography

The Red-footed Falcon is one of the most attractive birds of prey in Europe.

During this workshop I will guide you around Túrkeve, where a few Red-footed Falcon colonies are located. In these breeding areas the Falcons are very active at this time of the season: there will be good opportunities for amazing photos with displaying, mating, fighting over nest sights with Kestrels, catching prey.  A trip not to be missed. The main target of this tour will be the Red-Footed Falcon, however we will use my other hides and work in the fields as well.

After the midday break we are going to explore the surrounding territories. We will take a jeep safari where we will be able to take pictures of Black Tailed Godwit, Great Reed Warbler and Great White Egret, with a bit of luck we may also observe the first returning Red-Backed Shrike.

Day 7

If we have enough time before leaving for the Airport, we will drive to visit a nice oilseed rape field hoping to see Corn Buntings, Yellow Wagtails, Stonechat or a Roe deer between the yellow flowers.

At the end of our Red-footed Falcon photography tour, we would hopefully have taken pictures of Red-footed Falcon, Kestrel, Syrian and Green Woodpecker, Bluethroat, Wryneck, Nightingale and many more wonderful birds and mammals making your trip worthwhile.

We recommend this tour to anybody interested in wildlife photography. During our tour we will mainly use hides but sometimes we work on the fields also. We would ask you to bring Waterproof walking boots as the early morning grass will probably be wet. We will promise you an interesting few days photography in a country with beautiful habitat and wonderful wildlife
